Patrick Terarutunyan specializes in employment litigation in state and federal court and defends public entities against claims made under the Fair Employment and Housing Act (FEHA) and the Labor Code. Mr. Terarutunyan also defends public entities in common law claims involving children in a school setting.
Mr. Terarutunyan is a zealous advocate for his clients and leaves no stone unturned in evaluating each claim, conducting comprehensive fact-finding and discovery, and engaging in any necessary law and motion practice in the furtherance of the defense of his clients. Mr. Terarutunyan also assists the senior attorneys in the firm in the handing of claims in all stages of litigation.
Mr. Terarutunyan is known for his exceptional people skills, and this serves him well in all stages of litigation, as his personable demeanor facilitates openness, professionalism and courtesy among clients, witnesses, opposing counsel, judges, and other stakeholders involved in the handling of a case.
In December 2018, Mr. Terarutunyan earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from California State University, Northridge. In 2021, he received his Juris Doctor from California Western School of Law in just two years. He is admitted to practice before all California Courts and the United States District Court, Central District.
